Aaron's Classes
Biography
Aaron’s love for music began at an early age when he started playing the violin in elementary school in Arlington, Texas. His passion and dedication led him to become a member of the University of Texas at Arlington Symphony Orchestra, where he honed his classical training and musical sensitivity.

In 2004, Aaron discovered the darbuka, marking the beginning of a transformative musical journey into the world of Middle Eastern percussion. Immersing himself in this new genre, he joined the Isis Academy for Performing Arts, where he applied his years of classical training to mastering the intricate rhythms and techniques of the darbuka.

Aaron believes that a strong foundation in core techniques is essential for any instrument, and the darbuka is no exception. He has had the privilege of training with renowned percussionists and musicians such as Issam Houshan, Susu Pampanin, Carmine Guida, and Faisal Zedan. Drawing from their teachings, he has developed his own unique playing style, blending tradition with personal expression.

Today, Aaron continues to share his passion for percussion through performance and instruction, inspiring others to explore the rich and dynamic world of rhythm.
