Exploring the Salimpour Method

The Salimpour Method integrates a codified technique of isolations, timing, layering, and the comprehensive Salimpour Vocabulary of steps and cymbal patterns.

In this workshop, dancers will explore how these elements work together—building clarity in isolations, applying them to traveling patterns, and embodying classic vocabulary. For those ready to expand further, optional finger cymbal layers will demonstrate the dynamic interplay of rhythm and movement.

Open to all levels, this class offers both a clear introduction for new students and a valuable practice space for those already studying the Salimpour Method.

Cost $75

Breaking Patterns & Movement Dynamics

Every dancer has a default mode, the energy and quality they return to without thinking.

In this workshop we will explore how to recognize your own default and expand beyond it.

Through guided exercises you will experience how the same movement changes when different dynamics are applied, opening your eyes to new textures and possibilities.

This is not about adding more steps to your vocabulary but about learning to transform the ones you already know.

Cost $75
